Leagues
Wavell League – From U10s through to U16s - The winter Wavell League is a competitive local league where our teams continue to be successful within their divisions. Our U11Bs won their Division, U11A & our U13s both came 2nd in their divisions in the summer league. We have entered x 9 teams this coming season and along with the opportunity for all our players to take part in competitive match play against other local teams we are very excited to see how they all develop. Matches recommence from Tuesday 6th September 2022 for the U12A (Blacks) and above teams and Thursday 20th October 2022 for the U12B (Pinks) and below teams. 2 x matches a month. (Details regarding dates/times will follow shortly.) Included in termly fees.
PLEASE SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM TO SEE THE WAVELL MATCH SCHEDULE
Hampshire Country league for all U12s and above – We are pleased to confirm that we have once again been asked to take part in this ‘invitation only’ league coming off the back of our previous successful winter and summer results (Summer results - U11 came top of their division and U13 came 2nd of theirs.) With matches being held on a Saturday (normally x 1 a month) in Southampton (dates, venues to be advised shortly.) To be included in this league offers our players further competitive match play against other professional clubs in Hampshire and we can confirm we will be entering teams for every age group from U12 and above. We are, once again, very excited to see what all of our Panthers teams can achieve next season. Match fees are paid in addition to club netball.
Panthers own Elite (home) tournaments – An opportunity for friendly and fun match play against local and further afield teams from the South. We have confirmation of 7 x clubs who wish to attend next season. Held 1 x month on a Saturday at Wavell in September, October, November and December (dates to be advised shortly.) Included in termly fees.
Away tournaments – The invites are starting to come in already for next season (details to follow.) The purpose of these tournaments is to provide friendly, competitive and fun match play for our players. It is a great opportunity and experience for all our players and for Panthers as a club to be seen by and be a part of the wider netball community. These tournaments are very time consuming, require a lot of organisation (behind the scenes) by both our committee members and wonderful volunteer parent helpers. Coaches and umpires are required to be paid. We will continue to request a modest entrance fee for any away tournament.
PLEASE NOTE - FIRST DATE BACK for all will be Monday 5th September 2022.
