Welcome to the adult section of Panthers 

We are a friendly, fun and all-inclusive club who is open to those that enjoy netball and want to improve as players.  

We have 7 teams in the Wavell League which allows each member to play at the level they are most comfortable, with the opportunity for advancement.   We also have a Panthers team in the Saturday Hampshire Indoor League. 

Weekly indoor training sessions with our Level 2 coach are on Thursday nights - see below for more details.  Our structured and enjoyable training seasons are aimed at improving fitness; includes skills, drills and coached match play.

The club also offers opportunities for players who are interested in coaching, umpiring & first aid.

​We welcome all NEW MEMBERS, whether you have played netball to a high standard or are just returning to Netball after a break.  We look forward to meeting you!

​Adult Training
​

Weekly INSIDE training sessions are with an experienced level 2 coach and is encouraged for all members. 
​
Training takes place on Monday & Thursday evenings during term time, 8-9:30pm, at 2 venues:
The Samuel Cody School sports hall, Farnborough sixth form college, and Wavell School sports hall.

Come down for two free taster training sessions. During this time, the coach will provide feedback on moving forward with membership and how they feel you will fit in with the club's range of abilities.  

​Every training session we aim for players to learn something new, mixed with lots of laughter!

Wavell Invitation Netball League

​Wavell Invitation Netball League, Wavell School.
​ Any new members interested in joining one of the 7 Wavell teams will normally trial for a place.  Matches are for 1 hr, at either 7.15pm or 8.30pm, and players need to arrive 15 minutes before their match to warm up correctly.

WINTER SEASON 9th September 2024 - 27th March 2025
Matches every other Monday and Wednesday.  Sub restrictions apply.
 Winter season - There are 14 Matches (2 per month) in the winter league: September - March (sub restrictions apply).

SUMMER SEASON 3rd June 2025
Matches every Monday and Wednesday.  No Sub restrictions apply.
Summer season - There are 7 Matches (every week) in the summer league which runs in June and July (no sub restrictions).

​All players must be members of the England Netball Association to play in the Wavell League.  Membership needs be be renewed at the end of August.

Membership Fees 2024

CLUB FEES

Club Fees are £88 a term (thats just £5 a week roughly).  
Fees include all WINL Match fees, termly Training fees, Friendly games, Bibs, Balls, Club admin and incidentals.  (Exc Dress and extra tournaments.)

Winter term: September - December
 Spring term: January - March
Summer term: April - July

New members are welcome to join initially just for training on Thursday evenings if all our squads are full.

Training only fee option £65 is available for those that are unable to attend matches and are WINL Div 1-8 standard.
